What Gravity stores, how connected accounts and public research work, and who operates the service.
01 · operator and data controller
Gravity is a product operated by GUILLAUME DERAMCHI, entrepreneur individuel (sole proprietor), SIREN 937 775 336, registered at 6 rue Olympe de Gouges, 92600 Asnières-sur-Seine, France. GUILLAUME DERAMCHI is the data controller for Gravity. buildgravity.co is the public product website, while buildgravity.dev hosts the application and product documentation. Both domains are operated by the same legal entity.
02 · data Gravity stores
Account sign-in details, companies and websites you add, and the campaigns, prospects, plans, and results in your workspace. Public LinkedIn URLs you add may be matched to activity imported by your companion. Connected LinkedIn activity is stored separately for your Conversations workspace. Data stays per-company.
03 · public company research
Before signup, Gravity may research a public website via OpenAI and public sources. A hashed network address is stored for abuse prevention. Unclaimed research is removed after 7 days. After activation, the public link closes; the source payload is eligible for removal after 24 hours and is never publicly reused. A minimal activation record may remain 30 days so interrupted requests can resume safely. Interrupted activation stays private and may retain its payload up to 30 days to resume safely.
04 · HubSpot
Your HubSpot connection authorizes read-only imports of contacts and companies. Deals are used only as account-status tags. Gravity does not create, edit, or delete HubSpot records, and campaigns keep working after disconnection.
05 · LinkedIn
You can optionally upload your LinkedIn ZIP export in Settings or during setup. After you confirm the archive and its personal profile, Gravity keeps the imported data encrypted and discards the ZIP. Your posts, comments and messages attributed to your exact sender profile can inform your writing style across this company's campaigns. Received message text is discarded. Historical connections, invitations and activity can inform suggestions for matching people; they do not establish current interest or permission to contact. Private message examples are excluded from public post and comment writing. Delete the archive in Settings to stop using it in future generations and remove its approved style summary; existing drafts are kept. You can separately request an AI style review of the imported posts and approve its result. The archive report shows which files were read and which examples are available to memory.
For Conversations, a companion on your computer controls a dedicated Chromium browser profile. Your LinkedIn sign-in stays in that local profile; Gravity does not ask for your password. The companion sends a bounded set of recent private messages, your own posts, and visible comments on those posts to your Gravity workspace over HTTPS. Coverage is partial: it does not capture every message, post, comment, or reaction. Public profile LinkedIn engagement research uses only activity the companion can verify.
Imported conversations, posts, comments, drafts, and actions are encrypted in Gravity's database. When preparing replies, Gravity sends relevant private message text and conversation context to OpenAI to assess whether a reply is useful and draft it. Writing examples are enabled by default: selected messages and posts written by you, plus corrected replies you sent, may also be used for your style. You can disable or exclude them.
Gravity sends a private reply only after you approve it and sending is enabled and the companion is online with sending enabled. Comments are read-only: Gravity does not draft or send public replies.
06 · protection and sharing
Connection credentials are encrypted at rest and used only for connected features. We do not sell personal information. Data is shared with service providers only to operate Gravity or when required by law.
07 · disconnect and delete
Disconnect HubSpot to revoke its saved connection credentials. Disconnect LinkedIn from Conversations to stop reads and sends, revoke the companion, and remove imported LinkedIn posts, conversations, drafts, and actions from Gravity. If the companion is offline at that moment, its local browser profile may remain until it receives the revocation when restarted; you can also remove it on your computer. Your manually entered business context stays in the workspace. Delete campaigns or companies from the dashboard. To delete your Gravity account and its saved data, disconnect LinkedIn first, then choose delete account in your profile menu and confirm with your password.
